We do allow city/state-specific job market questions in our stickied thread. There are many other subs that are dedicated to these topics, please consult with them for these questions. No asking/looking for jobs, job postings, job availability, the job market in certain cities, or resume help. All salary posts will be redirected to our Salary megathread (linked in the sidebar). Posts asking about salary will be removed. Supervisors and coworkers may be another good resource as well as they should be familiar with the process. We do not want anyone to be given potentially wrong advice when it comes to their career (this has happened on this board). Obtaining your license is something that can vary from state to state and can be very nuanced. Questions related to licensure will be removed. This includes links to your practices/businesses, YouTube pages, etsy stores, etc. If you have a question that is related to social work education or entering the field, please post it in the "Weekly School of Social Work/New to Social Work Thread" pinned to the top of the main page. This sub receives plethora of posts related to social work education, admissions, internships, and how to become a social worker. No questions about school and/or entering the field of social work. Posters answering obvious posts asking for professional advice, will receive a warning for their first offense and a temporary 5 day ban for subsequent offenses. This subreddit is intended for social work professionals and students to serve as a place discuss the field itself. This is place for professional feedback and development. All client-seeking advice questions will be removed. This subreddit is not intended for professional advice including: medical, legal, mental health and financial advice.
